Baseball has a proud history in the Oldham and Rochdale area with successful teams competing in the 1930's professional leagues and an amateur scene from the 1930's through to at least 1955. More can be found on the History page of the website. In honour of the founder of local baseball we call our home field the ‘William Brown Ballpark’.
The adult team is open to anyone aged 16 or over, there is no upper age limit! If you are 13 - 16 you can join the youth team. Have a look at the Comets page on this site.
Adult Club membership fees are as follows:

Members not paying directly from a bank account are asked to pay fees at least quarterly in advance.

The club provides field equipment initially, but players will want (and need) to buy their own gloves if you decide you are enjoying the game and the Club. The club has a number of used but good condition gloves for sale at £20 or can point you in the right direction for new gear.
If you wish to play in competitive games, you will need to buy the North Stars uniform of White Pants, Black Cap and Maroon Jersey which costs around £50. Your shoes can have cleats or studs but golf or cricket style spikes cannot be worn. Youth Team information can be found on the Comets page of this website.
